Patricia K. Dawson, Au.D. F.A.A.A., CCC-A

Patricia Dawson, Au.D., joined our clinic in May of 2008 as a doctoral student in Audiology and has continued with us as a doctor of audiology since that time.

Dr. Dawson completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science Disorders at the University of South Florida. She then continued at the University of South Florida to complete a doctoral degree in Audiology. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Dawson received a University Fellowship and the Dean’s Excellence Fellowship. She completed her doctoral studies with a published laboratory research work in the field of cochlear implants and speech perception.

Dr. Emily G. McClelland, Au.D. F.A.A.A., CCC-A

Dr. McClelland joined our practice in August of 2020 after receiving her doctorate Summa Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University and bachelor’s Magna Cum Laude from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. During her time as a doctoral student, Dr. McClelland completed three years of clinical rotations in a Veterans Health Administration hospital where she focused on hearing and balance diagnostics and rehabilitation for veterans. She also participated in conducting a research study regarding hearing aid benefit in patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which will will be undergoing the process for publication. She then completed an externship at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND, providing hearing and balance care to a range of populations including pediatric, active military, and indigenous communities. A Tennessee native, Dr. McClelland and her husband now reside in Polk County with their fur babies.

Dr. Laura Ramirez

Dr. Laura Ramirez joined our practice in April 2018. Dr. Ramirez received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida in 2010 in Gainesville, Florida. She went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree, also from the University of Florida, in 2014. Dr. Ramirez was employed with an Otolaryngology group in Atlanta, Georgia prior to moving to Florida.

Dr. Ramirez is a native to the Orlando area. She enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter. Dr. Ramirez works part-time with our practice, and devotes the rest of her week to playing with her sweet two-year-old. She looks forward to helping you with all of your hearing and balance needs.

Dr. Leslie Rosegger

Leslie Rosegger joined our clinic in October 2016 as an Audiologist.

Dr. Rosegger came to Florida from Virginia where she received her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. In Florida she worked for over 15 years before studying for her Doctorate degree with AT Still University/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2004. In Lakeland, she began at Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center, then joined Clark & Daughtry Medical Group, and finally Lakeland Regional Health. She has over 30 years of experience working as an Audiologist in a medical practice. Dr. Rosegger has 3 grown children and lives in Lakeland.
